We would recommned the following steps if you find your Windows 10 slows down after the 1809 update, you'll need administration rights in order to complete this process so please open a ticket with us, or contact your system administrator.
1. Digit "cmd" in windows search bar 2. Right click on "Command Prompt" 3. Select "Run as Administrator" 4. Digit "sfc /scannow" without quote and press ENTER
Then :
1. Digit "cmd" in windows search bar 2. Right click on "Command Prompt" 3. Select "Run as Administrator" 4. Digit "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth" without quote and press ENTER 5. Digit "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth" without quote and press ENTER 6. Digit "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" without quote and press ENTER
Once done, perform also a Clean Up Disk:
1. Open "File Explorer" 2. Click on "This PC" 3. Right click on "C:" 4. Click on "Proprieties" 5. Click on "Clean-up disk" 6. Click on "Clean up system files" 7. Select every option in the list, but not "Download" 8. Click on "OK"
At this point the only thing that remains is to perform a defragmentation:
1. Open "File Explorer" 2. Click on "This PC" 3. Right click on "C:" 4. Click on "Proprieties" 5. Click on "Tools" 6. Click on "Optimize" 7. Click on "C:" 8. Click on "Optimize"
That should fix your device OS.
We would also recommend updating your drives to the latest provided by the machines manufacturer.
